This basket is woven on a solid wooden base. The maple strip can be painted to match the decor of your room. This basket was designed for a customer who had a small table, but wanted to always have fruit available. It is easy to weave. The Fruit Bowl now features a weaving variation using smoked round reed and dyed 1" Maple which may be used for the 8" wooden slotted base or the 8" Lazy Susan base.

3/16" flat oval - weavers and lasher
1/4" flat or flat oval (dyed) - weavers or #3 smoked
10" wooden hoop - inside rim
